“Rivendell is an absolutely fantastic place for healing. All of the staff are very kind and helpful, and this is a place where I feel comfortable and safe. I started the Spravato treatment 6-7 months ago to help with depression. The office for Spravato is dedicated just for these treatments, and you get a private room with a reclining chair. Each room also has a fan and heater so you can stay at a comfortable temperature during your session. You are also welcome to bring a blanket or other amenities with you. I have had a couple of rough treatment sessions where I was going through a lot and processing a lot. They have a call button in each room, which I used twice for these more difficult sessions. Someone was available to come talk with me to help me calm down and move through the difficult parts. I don’t want to put anyone off from seeking treatment by saying that I have had a couple difficult sessions, but this is part of the healing process, and I was very thankful to be in a safe place with compassionate staff there to support me. Rivendell has talk therapy sessions available that they call integration, which is encouraged for people going to the clinic for Spravato treatments. These are usually the day after your Spravato treatment so that way you can talk about your treatment session and process what you are dealing with and what you experienced during your session. I highly recommend that anyone doing Spravato treatments also does integration. I have been going through a lot recently and have faced judgment from people, including at a different Spravato clinic where I actually walked out of my intake appointment. My experience at Rivendell has been the polar opposite, and has truly been a welcoming place for me. I have been seeing Dr James for integration, and he has been very supportive and one of the most compassionate people I have ever met. I recently switched med management from another provider to Dr James as well, and it’s very nice to have a variety of care options available all at one location. I have also done integration appointments with Maddy and Brittney, and they have been very kind and helpful as well. So if you are worried about feeling alone or judged, or if you are hesitating to work through your difficulties, know that Rivendell is a safe space for you, and I encourage you to schedule an appointment here. I cannot recommend this place enough!”

From their reception staff to their physicians and EVERYONE in between, you are met with nothing but kindness, compassion, and top-tier medical care (shoutout to Christie, Reba, and Kayla, for being super communicative whenever there was some kind of nonsense insurance issue so we could handle it before my appointments). As someone who has seen psychiatry for over 16 years, I can honestly say Dr. James is the most intuitive, genuine, evidence-based practitioner I’ve ever been treated by — and Dr. Fry is one of those providers who hears everything you have to say, never makes you feel rushed, and always tries to see the bigger picture of your health. They both make sure I am an active participant in my healthcare and that is something really hard to find. I’ve referred numerous friends to this clinic and they all come back with the same fantastic experience. Highly recommend this office!”
